Neil Warnock has completed a deal to sign former Norwich City defender Adam Drury.

The news was revealed by Leeds United press officer Paul Dews, and comes on a day when speculation has been rife about the imminent arrival of Paddy Kenny and Lee Peltier.

The 33-year-old defender has played for Norwich City for over a decade, making over 300 league appearances.

Neil Warnock has expressed his delight at capturing the former Canaries man;

“I’m delighted to have him. He’s got the experience we need. He played 16 times for Norwich last season and he’s better than a lot of full backs in the Premier League.”

Drury’s move to Elland Road will be completed on the 1st of July when his current contract expires, and is Neil Warnock’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of Jason Pearce in May.
