Another early wake-up call for travelling Whites fans on the 26th of February after our away trip to Swansea was selected for live coverage on Sky Sports. The game will now kick-off at 12:45.

It wasn’t just Ken Bates’ mouth watering at the thought of extra television revenue, but the editor of Swansea’s official site was clearly pleased too;

“Swansea City are delighted that this fixture was chosen above any other in the Championship and on the back of excellent ticket sales already.

And with Leeds set to pack out the North Stand we’re hopeful that Sky will be able to sample a rocking and passionate atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium that afternoon.”

The Swansea-Leeds clash was selected to replace the previously scheduled Premier League tie between Arsenal and Spurs which has been rearranged due to Arsenal reaching the final of the League Cup.

    Sat 26th is (genuinely) my birthday and although I wanted to go to Swansea family commitments stopped me. Let’s hope I have a happy birthday!
