Aidy White is arguably one of the most exciting prospects on Leeds’ books. With first team opportunities limited Simon Grayson sent him out on loan to Oldham where has made an impressive start, scoring two goals in his first three games.

One of his goals, against Exeter, was a fantastic solo run and finish. White’s pace and trickery have always been seen has his strongest attributes and under Oldham manager Paul Dickov, he seems to have been given license to bomb forward and run at defenders.

White was brought in after Dickov was impressed by the 19 year old during his short spell at Leeds last season. The young winger already seems to be a hit with the Oldham fans.

The primary concern surrounding Aidy White was his inability to complete a full match, though this was put down to nerves of playing for the team he supports, it seems as if he’s had no such problems for Oldham. Although the attendances at Boundary Park are considerably smaller than Elland Road, hopefully the regular competitive matches will help his fitness and set him up for to push for a starting place at Leeds.

In other loan news, Lubo Michalik scored a good goal for Carlisle against Sheffield Wednesday in the Johstone’s Paint Trophy in midweek.
