A young Leeds United supporter named Kai has become a Twitter sensation after attending today’s 1-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers dressed as his idol, El Hadji Diouf.

Sporting a full Leeds United kit, Diouf’s distinctive hairstyle and having painted his face to darken his skin colour, Kai posed for pictures at Elland Road alongside players, Salem Patel, Neil Warnock, Policemen and various members of the public, all of whom seemed to find the mini-me Diouf highly amusing.

Ha. I wonder if this is the kid that won Radio Aire’s young supporter of the year. Tthey had him on the morning radio from time to time. Comical kid.

  • Q. What sort of parent lets their son get his head shaved and then blackens him up?
    A. A bad parent.

He’s a young kid dressing up as his favourite player, leave the lad alone. Can’t believe some people’s reaction to this, there’s absolutely no reason to be offended.

I agree, just a kid showing his idol some love. At the end of the day, his hair will grow back, and he’l be left with priceless memories of meeting his heroes.

It’s one of these things where everyone underneath is cringing but nobody dare say anything because its a kid. Obviously there are parents behind this who should maybe have thought on, I’m sure the haircut and a diouf shirt would have sufficed.

It’s different, I’ll say that. He’ll definitely have good memories to look back on.
