Apologies for the lateness of our September goal of the month compilation, the lad that does them (Dan) has been away on holiday so we’re playing catch-up at the moment.

Aside from the Carling Cup demolition at home to Scum, September was a good month for the Whites with three games producing two wins, a draw and eight goals. All of those goals feature in our below video, and you can vote for your favourite in the poll at the bottom of this post.

The nominees are in chronological order and as follows;

  • 01 – Ross McCormack v Crystal Palace
  • 02 – Luciano Becchio v Crystal Palace
  • 03 – Ross McCormack v Crystal Palace
  • 04 – Adam Clayton v Bristol City
  • 05 – Ross McCormack v Bristol City
  • 06 – Andy Keogh v Brighton
  • 07 – Ross McCormack v Brighton
  • 08 – Ross McCormack v Brighton

We’ll keep the voting open for a week from today (1st of November) and the winner will be announced with next months nominations.

The winner of August’s goal of the month was Ramon Nunez in the League Cup v Doncaster Rovers.

Enjoy the video for September’s nominees and don’t forget to vote after viewing.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

    The most brilliant thing about that video is the word “unstoppable” lines up with Ross McCormack’s stunner v Brighton (07)

    Interesting to see how many vote for Andy Keogh’s goal! Bless him. However come the October goal of the month it’ll be a different story, Andy Keogh’s volley vs posh up against McCormacks overhead kick! Cant wait there have been some crackers in October

    Goals can look pretty without being so good. E.G. for me Becchio’s header v Palace wasn’t as good as McCormack’s even though it looked nicer, because McCormack had it all to do.

    Has to be number 7 for me, though!
