Good news for Ken Bates as it was today revealed that the 3rd round FA Cup tie between Arsenal and Leeds United will be broadcast live on ITV1.

The clash has been scheduled for a 12:45 kick-off on January the 8th.

The two sides haven’t met since Arsenal battered the Whites 5-0 in 2004. That means, it will be the first time Leeds United have played at Arsenal’s new home, The Emirates.

Simon Grayson’s Leeds United will be looking for a repeat of their giant-killing display against Manchester United in the third round of last seasons FA Cup, when Jermaine Beckford scored the only goal.

    No one noticed my insistence on mentioning last years third round at every available opportunity?

    Statue for TSS.

      @TSS

      Yes… You mention it like its a bad thing. I say lay off in about 2020 or before then if we have a comparable result to replace it with.

    I hope the coverage is better than the last time.
