Gutted that Gradel and Snodders are out for Saturday! I can only imagine we will play the same formation and hopefully give White a chance on the left putting Sam on the right rather than moving the impressive Johnson to left wing. Great goal by Gradel however how many times did he try that last year?? he’s a 1 in 10 man from distance so that means he’s got a belter up his sleeve fr Cardiff : )

Great performance even though our lack of pace at the back is worrying and Bassone still looks off the pace, yesterday mmeans nothing now however as long as we up the game 10 % by Saturday then Derby could be in bother.

There is no doubt that Snodders is going to be out but have you heard confirmation of this and if so is there any indication of how long he will be out – seems like there is a deafening silence at the moment suggesting a long lay off – I would almost prefer to see him back on Saturday than get another signing in

I almost feel disappointed when we perform like this, lets be honest Ken isn’t going to be splashing cash on new players after the amount of goals we’ve scored since Bury.

Joking aside, great performance. I’d never have thought this team could produce so many goals without Beckford, that said it is often the case when you lose a star striker that the rest of the team starts scoring bucket-loads. Of course the flip side could be that you don’t score any which I was almost certain would be the case.

Shaping up nicely I’d say. We’ll beat Derby, and after that I’ll be happy with a mid-table finish. I still think there are significant loan signings to be made which could just push us over the finishing line in terms of reaching the playoffs.

That said “The Best” in this league don’t frighten me. Famous last words?

I just want us to get of to a good start, then the odd blip here and there is easier to take. Starting the season badly puts pressure on everyone and i dont like playing catch up.

Has Snodders had his scan and whats the news on Paynter and Parker.

Eddie Gray asked Simon Grayson about the injury after the game on Yorkshire Radio yesterday but he wasn’t giving much away. All he said was that IF Snoddy was going to miss the first game, he’d be looking to bring in someone else to cover.

the lads looked lively yesterday,Gradel impressed me it’s a pity he’s got a 4 game ban now,I think we’ll beat Derby on Sat and Lincoln on tues but i’ll think we’ll get beat at Forest if Snodgrass is out for a while Leeds will have to find a suitable replacement at least prem league standard which means a loan signing if we can afford the wages!!

I predict this starting XI for the Derby game:
    Connolly Naylor Collins Bessone
    Sam Kilkenny Howson Johnson

Subs: Higgs, Bromby, Hughes, Grella, White, Snodgrass (fingers X’d), plus AN OTHER striker

    Can we risk Casper starting?
Not in my view, we need to hit the ground running.

You mean Casper as in Kasper Schmeichel? Or as In Casper Ankergren? The later of which has left and the former is a bloody good Keeper.
