His performances gave confidence to the whole team and especially the defence. Without him we have kept only 3 clean sheets... and the defence has looked to be blunt hopeless. No doubt Paddy has been head and shoulders above the rest of our inconsistent defence. However.......A 30 goal contribution from Beckford this season , including the winner vs. Man U in a magnificent team performance - from a team in the 3rd tier of English football against the runners up of the Champions League ...AND ... AND .... a last minute penalty vs. Spurs away in FA Cup......Outstanding performances and memories. Becks may not be everybody's cup of tea ...BUT .. he's made a massively significant contribution this year. Yes he's had his tantrums and with some more composure could have perhaps scored more ...
