Last week on TSS I ran an article titled ‘In Grayson we “still” trust?‘ The article looked at the Leeds United fans turbulent relationship with the current management from the one extreme of ‘In Grayson we trust‘ to the polar-opposite who think Simon Grayson should be relieved of his duties at season end.

To accompany the post and discover what the majority thought of our current manager, I ran a poll (below) where I asked users to select the current level of confidence they had in Simon Grayson’s leadership.

Confidence in Leeds United achieving promotion?

  • 5 - Total confidence (2%, 39 Votes)
  • 4 - Highly confident (9%, 151 Votes)
  • 3 - Confident (50%, 794 Votes)
  • 2 - Low confidence (35%, 565 Votes)
  • 1 - Extremely low confidence (2%, 30 Votes)
  • 0 - No confidence (1%, 15 Votes)

Total Voters: 1,592

The poll ran from the 22-29th of April, and over 800 of you voted. Of those that voted, only 33 people voted in the lowest two percentage brackets. Conversely, nearly 500 of you voted for the 80% or 100% option showing that Leeds United fans are still by and large confident in their managers ability, despite recent slumps in form and a nail-biting climax to the season.

I’ve now averaged all the results out and the resulting confidence level in Simon Grayson is 72.92%. I’ll run the same poll once again at the end of the season to see how our ultimate fate changes the response. Thanks to everyone that voted.
