James – it was a brilliant day. Wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Makes you remember what you’re missing in the Prem though, doesn’t it? Not sure I’m quite as optimistic about Beckford staying as you are, but remain hopeful.

KTSW – Hi mate, glad you enjoyed yourself. They kept us in for ages afterwards, but we didn’t care, it was great fun. Kis was immense, as was Nayl’s who hounded Rooney all day. Every player in White did exceptionally well and deserved the result. MOT!

Great account of things, what a day it was! I still haven’t come down yet and it hasn’t really sunk in. This is massive for the fans who have been through so much, we have a lot to look forward to in the coming years under Grayson. Bring on Wycombe on Saturday! MOT

What a day!

I was in the South stand surrounded by Mancs but couldn’t help hitting the roof when we scored. Amazingly, hundreds of others did too including a very quiet bloke next to me. There were lots of verbals but we didn’t care, we were winning at Scumchester! Funnily, you’d be surprised how many of the home lot were actually wearing the souvenir scarves with both colours on. Our lot would rather have their arms pulled off than wear red but theirs didn’t seem to understand. It was if they were playing Real Madrid or something. These were definitely new fans or from Surrey, their traditional few who haven’t deserted to the Salford Reds made their feelings very clear.

The sound coming from the East Stand upper and corner was amazing, well done lads, it made me proud. I watched the fun after the game (including the Mexican waves) with a pint after sneaking into a box vacated by pig sick scummers. Ha ha..

Finally, there was only one MOTM – Kisnorbo. Simply outstanding. Made Brown look crap.

Congratulations to Leeds United and their fans. The Premier League is missing you guys. I am an Arsenal fan and I was waiting the next (West Ham vs. Arsenal) match while I was watching the Devils vs. Leeds United game.

Man, you outclassed them and SAF was hanging his head when the final whistle was blown.

An absolutely outstanding performance and result, full credit to everyone involved. I have to agree about Howson his was a performance worthy of any premier club but it almost seems unfair to pick out just one or two players, I was proud of every one. Let’s hope that not too many scouts were watching we don’t want Bates cashing in not until we’re up anyway. MOT.

absolutely fantastic! I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear! I was born in 82 and have never witnessed a win at the theatre of wet dreams. I’ve just woken up and it’s just starting to sink in. Thank god for Sky+, I’m off to watch it again!!! Na na na na na na na na na na naaaaaa Leeds are goin up, goin up, Leeds are going up!!!!

If Bromby had not been suspended Crowe was unlikely to play

Bromby does not have the pace of Crowe and would not have got back to clear off the line

The song we beat the Scum 1-0 was fantastic
